An inventory of the browser storage used by this version of Rabbi David.
1. HOW THIS SITE USES COOKIES
Cookies are small browser records. Rabbi David uses a necessary cookie to associate this browser with a private saved reading. Static pages do not need a reading session; opening interactive features may establish one.
2. STORAGE USED IN THIS VERSION
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| rd_session | Necessary access to the saved reading and preferences; HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, Secure on the configured HTTPS origin. | Up to 30 days, or until you sign out or clear it. |
| rabbiWelcomeSound | Session storage remembering an optional welcome-audio playback choice. | Browser tab session, or until a new test clears it. |
3. OPTIONAL TRACKING
This version does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or session replay. No “accept all” choice is needed to enable tracking that is not installed. If optional tracking is introduced, this notice and the corresponding controls will be updated before it is activated.
4. YOUR CONTROLS
You can block or remove cookies in your browser settings, or sign out from the Help page. Blocking the session cookie prevents saved access from working. Save your PDF or private recovery key before clearing browser storage. Removing a browser cookie does not itself delete the saved record on the server.
5. EXTERNAL DESTINATIONS AND CONTACT
Following an external link opens a service with its own privacy and cookie practices. For questions about this site, Contact our support team. See also our Privacy Policy.
